Brittany Bir is an experienced new-business entrepreneur who has launched multiple foreign companies in the Silicon Valley. She has lived, worked, and founded companies in the US and Europe. Now she leverages her expertise in new business and growth to lead companies through their global expansion. She is also a Member of the Board of Directors at the French American Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco, Advisory Board Member at Code for fun, and Startup Alumni Advisory Board Member at Schoolab San Francisco. Throughout her work and in her spare time, she strives to encourage more women to pursue tech and entrepreneurship.

Kathy Davies is the Managing Director of the Stanford Life Design Lab, and Founder and CEO of DYL Consulting who created the Designing Your Life for Women workshop series. Before joining Stanford, she worked in industry as an engineer and product manager, making everything from high tech toilets, to power tools, to heart implants to software products. When not working, you can find Kathy commuting across the Dumbarton bridge by bike, hiking or taking in an improv show with her husband and two daughters.

Laura Pickel is a Learning Experience Designer at a tech company in San Francisco, an IDEO U teaching team lead, and a lecturer in the Stanford School of Engineering. In past lives, she's been a User Experience Designer at SAP, taught at the Stanford d.school, conducted over a hundred design thinking workshops, and taught at an experiential high school, using New York City as her classroom.

Melissa has been a coach and trainer since 2012, teaching empowerment, interpersonal and social skills. She's taught at local tech companies, non-profits, festivals and workshops in Silicon Valley and around the country.

Dr. Quarta is the co-founder and CEO of the Longevity Biotech company “Rubedo Life Sciences". He also co-founded the Longevity company “Turn Bio” and the the Medical Device company “WetWare Concepts”.
Dr. Quarta received a MS in Biotechnology from the University of Bologna and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Padova. He completed his post-doctoral training in Stem Cell Biology at Stanford University, where he later led a research team in the Department of Neurology and Neurological Sciences working on regenerative medicine and aging. |
