Learn how to express yourself authentically and effectively with vocal techniques!
Learn how to express yourself authentically and effectively with vocal techniques!
Good vocal technique is essential for effective presenting and communicating.
In this interactive workshop we will learn techniques that can be put to use and practice. We will approach the development of these skills through a set of exercises commonly used by actors, to guide listeners through complex material, to attract and hold onto an audience's attention, and to strengthen the unique character of our individual voices.
At a time when we are doing so much more of our communicating by means of on-line connections (such as Zoom), we may not have to worry as much about volume and projection, but clarity, variety and richness of tone have become even more important.

Learn how you can be effective working in cross-cultural teams
Many of us today work in global environments and effective communication across cultures can be a challenge. Despite both parties speaking the same language, there can still be misunderstandings due to cultural differences. Understanding the impact that globalization can have on your cross-culture team is imperative for your success. Overcoming these barriers can empower you to not only be more effective but to thrive in such an environment.
Enhancing your cultural awareness can help you minimize poor decision making, improve team cohesion, and ultimately increase performance.
