AWIS Palo Alto Membership
Women, men, scientists in industry and academia, professionials, teachers, students, and any who wish to support and promote women in science are invited to join AWIS.
Annual Palo Alto Chapter membership is just $25 and benefits include:
- Free attendance to our monthly meetings, which include networking, dinner, and fantastic speakers
- Candidacy to leadership positions within the Executive Board

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
Welcome! The Association for Women in Science (AWIS) has a Chapter-specific membership category for university students called Collegiate Reps. You may choose to join the Palo Alto Chapter here.
The Palo Alto Chapter holds monthly program events. Networking opportunities accompany a light dinner followed by the program.
Student Collegiate membership is only $25 +fees ($3) for a year and includes free entry into Palo Alto Chapter Programs. Membership allows you to volunteer and gain leadership skills in this grass roots, volunteer-run organization.
If you are not a student or are a student who is interested in learning more about public policy (via AWIS Washington Wire), gain access to the fantastic webinars (STEMiNARS) from National AWIS, and get the newly revamped AWIS Magazine, please consider joining as a National Junior Member here. Don't forget to join both National and the Palo Alto Chapter if you choose this option!
